Mundu 

A garment worn around the waist in Kerala, the Mundu is generally white or cream in colour and woven in cotton. Two types of mundu are frequently used — the single and the double. A single set mundu is draped once around the waist, whereas a double set mundu, has to be folded in half before draping. A mundu normally has Kara, a thick cloth woven into it near the border.
