Description

Nettoor Petti, Kerala’s traditional jewel box is a symbol of prosperity. The ancient Kerala women used to keep their ornaments inside the Amadapetti, a casket made of wood and richly decorated with brass. An exquisite mix of beauty and utility, it is also used as an elegant home décor. This ethnic jewel box was originally designed in the Nettoor region of Thalassery in Kannur district of Kerala. The surface of this  Nettoor box is aesthetically painted.
