Veṅkatachalapati, the presiding deity at the Tirumala temple complex, which is believed to be the richest of all the Hindu shrines in the world.

This huge statue, intricately carved in rosewood, took almost three years to complete the work. The vertical walls of the “Peedam” is adorned with carved out idols of 82 deities depicting the story of Thirupathy. This artwork is a masterpiece of a well-known artist who is also a National award winner.
